After you've created your blog, you may be wondering what to do next. Today I will teach you how to publish a blog post on WordPress.

If you're new to blogging and / or WordPress, learning all of the small steps at first can be intimidating. However, this is completely normal!

Blogging is new to most people so there are things you need to learn. I don't consider myself very "technical" and still managed to learn, haha.

Once you have your website designed, you will likely want to publish some blog posts. Don't worry, it's easy!

Here are simple steps to learn how to post a blog post on your new blog.

How to publish a blog post on WordPress.

Step 1: Go to your WordPress dashboard.

After completing the login process, you can log into your WordPress account via the Bluehost cPanel dashboard. You will then see the "Posts" section in the side menu on the left side of the page.

Step 2: add new.

You then click Add New to create a new page to publish.

Step 3: format and write your blog post.

WordPress makes it very easy to quickly add new "blocks" where you can add content like headings, paragraphs, images, videos, graphics, etc.! Simply click on the small “+” on the screen.

Step 4: choose your publishing options.

After you've created your content for this new page that you want to publish, you can choose between these different options on the right-hand side.

Step 5: preview your blog post.

You can then either publish your post or preview your post. If you choose to preview it, you will be taken to a screen that shows what the page will look like when published on your website.

Step 6: publish your blog post.

Once you've checked your "preview" of your post and it looks like you hoped it will, you can click "Publish". Your page will be published and shown live on your website as soon as you are ready to go live with your website!

Once you've published your post, any changes that need to be made can be updated in your WordPress account whenever you edit your post.
